Deep ruby with crimson hues. Fragrant, floral aromas of violets over spicy blackberry, raspberry and blueberry, with underlying spice notes of anise and black pepper, with sage, bay leaf and cedar. The palate is spicy, juicy and concentrated with ripe blueberry and freshly cut strawberry and plum creating layers of flavour with bright acidity and complexity from long, fine, savoury tannins.
Crimson with garnet hues. Bright, lifted aromas of redcurrant, rosehip and raspberry develop into concentrated baked plum pudding with spicy notes. The soft, luscious palate is complemented by complex flavours of spiced berry compote, raspberry and red liquorice. An elegant style with fine, velvety tannins and balanced acidity.
A little toasty flint opening. Quietly sweet, not exuberant but with a real density of aroma. A hint of anise and liquorice. A generous, but finely structured palate with generous, sweet red fruit combined with layers of soft spice.
Deep plum and dark berry fruits intermingle with Asian spice, earthy notes, liquorice and dark chocolate. On the palate, the generous and supple fruit is carried by finegrained tannins and through a seam of bright acidity to a long, rewarding finish.
