Grace Wine was established in 1923, in the Katsunuma province, the birthplace of the Japanese wine industry. The Grace Wine winery believes that great wine is made in the vineyard, they were the first to research and introduce European training and pruning methods introducing such as using long cordon training and Vertical Shoot Positioning in 1990. The wines are made in a modern way to retain the delicate characteristics of this individual and exciting grape variety.
The freshness and elegance of this wine is quite remarkable. Layered aromas of green apple, lime, gooseberry combine with notes of lilac, camomile and delicate spice. Bone dry and smooth on the palate with cool-climate acidity providing refreshing balance to the rich fruit. This is youthful and energetic.
Pure, sublimely crisp and mineral in style, this wine is fresh and elegant with subtle notes of citrus, grapefruit, Golden Delicious apple and white pear. Dry, with a lively palate of crisp, ripe fruits and a charming acidity. A lovely expression of the delicate elegance of the Koshu grapes.
Complex and layered aromas of green apple and lime are complemented by grassy notes, fennel, wet stone, flint and spicy hints of coriander. This is bone dry and smooth on the tightly knitted palate with a tongue-tensing, firm acidity enveloping the fruit through to a deliciously fresh and textured finish.
