Roccolo Grassi was established in 1996 by Bruno Sartori and his two children Francesca and Marco. Based in Veneto, they produce wines of unique character and strong personality, which are expressive of their origins. Winemaker Marco Sartori is one of hottest talents in the region. His philosophy is very simple; yields in the vineyard are significantly reduced to obtain a fabulous fruit concentration. The 14 hectares of Roccolo Grassi vines are farmed sustainably and minimal intervention takes place in the winery. The result is a collection of world class wines distinguished by their pure elegance.
A rich and concentrated Valpolicella with aromas of peppery tobacco and spice. Rich red fruits on the round and balanced palate combine with savoury notes through to a long, luscious finish.
A rich and opulent wine, showing intense aromas of ripe dark berried fruits with a hint of bitter almond. Beautifully concentrated deep fruits are layered with nuances of elegant oak and savoury notes, through to a smooth palate, with supple tannins and a fine, lingering finish.
A dessert wine of incredible intensity and depth. Golden nectar in the glass, with delicious ripe pineapple and marmalade fruit, and a vibrant acidity beautifully balancing the sweetness.
