skerk-shelved-wine

The Skerk  Winery was founded in 1990 and is located in an arid and difficult area of the Karst Plateau, 250 meters above sea level. The six hectares of vineyards, located in inaccessible and inaccessible areas, enjoy a mild and temperate climate, due to the proximity of the sea and their red, barren and stony soil is rich in limestone and iron, essential elements for the production of quality grapes. In the vineyard, invasive treatments are banned and absolutely natural procedures are preferred in the cellar. The cellar itself is a cave dug into the limestone rock which, by ensuring the right balance between humidity and temperature, allows the wines to mature perfectly in oak barrels.

Skerk's Vitovska wine is presented in the glass with a bewitching amber color. The nose is extraordinary for how it combines spontaneity and definition, and brings out notes of melba peach, wild herbs, honey and eucalyptus. When tasted, the liquid strikes for its persuasive and creamy tactility as well as for its saline charge which significantly lengthens its persistence. An experiential bottle.
