Tierra Antica passionately believe in the quality, and quality-price ratio, of Chile. The wine sourcer, Steve Daniel, spent his formative years in the Wine Trade introducing Chile to the wine public of Great Britain. Time and time again we return to Chile to look for great wines at great prices, working with a network of long-established contacts in vineyards and in wineries to obtain the best fruit and the best conditions in which to turn it into great-value wine! The Tierra Antica range includes a collection of attractively packaged wines which represent wonderful value for money.
An intense cherry red colour with bright purple hints. Red and black fruit aromas of cherries and blackberries are interwoven with a subtle, spicy bay leaf character. On the palate the wine displays soft, sweet tannins, balancing acidity and a good structure.
An array of mouth-watering citrus aromas that recall grapefruit and limes are underpinned by vibrant herbaceous characters. Bright refreshing acidity and a hint of salty minerality on the long finish.
Complex with grilled red pepper, raspberry and blackberry fruit, dried plums mingled with tobacco and mocha. A Cabernet Sauvignon with a velvety texture, soft and fleshy tannins and a nicely integrated finish.
