Italy is among the main wine producers, as well as consumers and exporters, in the world. Since Italy is a peninsula, an important role in the climate is played by the influence of the sea. About 77% of the Italian surface is covered by mountains and hills, thus constituting a terroir equally influenced by the altitudes and by the protection against the winds provided by the mountains. Italian wines enjoy a great variety of terroirs, in fact, since the denominations are spread over the entire territory, from north to south, from east to west. Our sommelier has selected three wines that can show the characteristics of each individual territory in which they are produced. 2 BOTTLES EACH.

Syrah is a vine of good vigor, which is well suited to various climatic and environmental conditions. It is considered a fairly robust vine and it is also for this reason that it has conquered the entire planet and is among the top six most cultivated ever. The origin of Syrah is still shrouded in mystery today. There are those who trace its history to the city of Shiraz, in present-day Iran, while others claim that it was exported by the Romans from Egypt to the city of Syracuse (Syracousai). The color is dark red, intense and tends to garnet with age, but the pigmentation of Syrah is a first sign to recognize: deep ink. The bouquet is characterized by intense aromas of pepper and chocolate like few other wines in the world. Followed by blueberries, berries, currants, spices, tobacco, with a finish of licorice, rhubarb and cocoa. On the palate it is warm, sumptuous, tannic and full-bodied, broad in its expressiveness. 2 BOTTLES EACH.

Originally from southwestern France, Malbec was introduced in the mid-1800s in Argentina, today the world's leading producing country. We find the Malbec vines also in Chile, Australia and, in smaller quantities, also in South Africa, Calfornia and Italy. Malbec produces rich, strong and full-bodied wines. It is a versatile grape variety, with which it is possible to develop young wines or wines suitable for long aging. In the mouth, the wine is expressed in all its splendor: if young, the palate will feel a pleasant sourness, after a few years it will be a mature wine, very deep and of great complexity. 2 BOTTLES EACH.

Argentina boasts a rich production of some of the best wines in the world. The territory is extremely favorable, the continental and semi-arid climate allows for good production, without the excessive use of treatments. In addition, the abundance of pure water from the snow of the Andes is an advantage for any type of crop. The main wine-growing areas are located between 300 and 2000 meters above sea level, these are among the highest vineyards in the world. Good ventilation and a temperature range between day and night (sometimes even 20 degrees) favor the development of the grapes, protecting them from any diseases. In this Wine box you will find three different wines that will show you the character of this land. 2 BOTTLES EACH.
