The Malbec Wine Box – 3 Bottles

Malbec 2018 – El Enemigo Deep purple with ruby highlights. On the nose fragrances of spicy, toasted and mineral notes, accompanied by ripe aromas of red berries. On the palate, the wine has good acidity, is balanced and has marked tannins. Malbec Colchagua 2019 – Montes Alpha This wine is intense ruby red in colour with violet hues. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherries and violets appear first, followed by notes of vanilla and dulce de leche from the French oak. It is a well-balanced wine with rounded tannins and a long, lingering finish. Cahors “K-lys” 2016 – Clos Troteligotte Traditionally styled with intense dark fruits, plums and blackberries with nuances of leather follow through to a richly textured palate. Complex and structured, elderberry and blackberry are enveloped by hints of vanilla and focussed mineral notes. Beautifully balanced with a long persistent finish.
