About this wine

The Schiava Gentile grapes of the Vigneti delle Dolomiti Rosato BelleAmour Rose Pravis are grown in the Sort ’Magre di Lasino area at an altitude of 250 meters on alluvial slime with south-west exposure. After a short cold maceration, the grapes are gently pressed; vinification takes place like a red wine and fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The Vigneti delle Dolomiti Rosato IGT “BelleAmour Rosé” Pravis ages in steel tanks for about five months and is then bottled. The Pravis winery is completely excavated underground and rises into sight, completely surrounded by calcareous rocks and exposed to the sun and the wind that warms our entire valley. Seated at the foot of Castel Madruzzo, Pravis winery is intended to be a new and simple symbol of the hardworking peasant culture, a symbol of the territory, to sanctify the identity of the community but above all of our philosophy of producing wines. Every phase of the process of transforming grapes into wine at Pravis respects a natural idea of winemaking. Using the least technology possible: our grapes, once pressed, flow with gravity into fermentation tanks, then into barrels, then finally into containers for pre-bottling with patience allowing the natural elements of the wine to aid our intuition in the winery.
