The Gewurztraminer Lieselehof is made of 100% Traminer grapes sourced from vineyards located an altitude of 500 meters above the sea level facing East. The Gewurztraminer Lieselehof is made from vineyards with soil of clayey and slightly gravelly, littered with limestone. The harvest is manual and the wine is vinified and matured in steel; after bottling the wine is aged in bottle before release.
The organic wine estate Lieselehof is situated in Kaltern am See, one of the historic wine-growing areas of the country. The Morandell family has been active in viniculture for many generations. Today, the passionate wine-grower Werner Morandell is mainly involved with the cultivation of grapes that can be used for first-class organic wines.
