The Valderbara, Vernaccia, Nosiola grapes of the Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Nature Blanc de Sers Casata Monfort are grown on terraces in Serso and Viarago (Pergine Valsugana) between 550 and 700 meters on medium-sized porphyritic clay soil. The harvest is manual and the vinification is in typical white for high-quality sparkling wines. The Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Nature “Blanc de Sers” Casata Monfort ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of about 18 ° C and the wine then remains on the lees until just before the draft which takes place the following spring. Thus the wine begins its foaming which is followed by short ageing on the lees (12 months).
NOTES: sparkling wine included in the project Bollicine da Uve Italiane
For Casata Monfort wine each generation bears the roots of the previous one, the values transmitted, the experiences lived, the shared projects, but each person in this family has also been able to look forward to the future, the ability to dream and the desire to write a page of the history of this winery. The generational shift is a gesture accompanied, built, never forced, a choice that matures consciously. The growth of the winery is the result of teamwork, made up of dynamic and motivated people, men and women who, in the past and in the present, have shared goals, hopes and results. With these premises, we think to innovate each year by adding new pieces both in the production and marketing side. We love to add a little bit of pepper to our daily work to make it always new every day.
