Veneto Raboso IGT “Forzatè” 2014 – La Montecchia
Deep ruby red color. Aroma of spices and marasca cherries that blend with great intensity. Its structure is warm to the palate supported by a good acidity that makes it a wine with a unique and original character.
The grapes of Veneto Raboso Forzate La Montecchia are grown in the Fornace vineyard on volcanic soil with flakes and various clays with southern, south-eastern exposure. The harvest is late and manual in box with selection in the vineyard; the vinification is traditional in red with maceration of the grapes for about 15 days. The Veneto Raboso IGT “Forzatè” La Montecchia ages 12 months in oak barrels then refines in glass for at least 6 months.
