Collio Ribolla Gialla DOC “Miklus” 2015 – Dragaby Valentino Minotti
ORGANOLEPTIC EXAMINATION: yellow color with coppery reflections. A pleasant nose bouquet, round body and rich in tannins. Remember the aromas of overripe grapes and citrus fruits.

VINEYARD OF ORIGIN: San Floriano del Collio (Friuli V.G.); Draga vineyard surface 0,35ha – strains / Ha 5,000 – 6th plant 0,90×2,30 – altitude 260m / slm – south facing
YEAR OF PLANT: 1987
YIELD PER HECTARE: 60 q / ha
LAND: hilly, consisting of layers of clayey marl and sandstone locally called “ponka”
HARVEST: manual, late towards the end of September
VINIFICATION: in red, the grapes are harvested and selected rigorously, then gently de-stemmed and placed to macerate in contact with the skins for 14 days in truncated conical casks. In these days the alcoholic fermentation begins and three times a day the manual punching is carried out (immersion of the skins in the must). Subsequently the grapes are subjected to soft pressing
MATURATION: the wine will be placed in barrels of acacia barrique, where it will remain in contact with the yeasts for 4 years. It is not filtered.
AGING: in bottle for 6 months
