The Porca de Murça Tinto Real Companhia Velho fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. There is no oak ageing and the wine is bottled at Real Companhia Velha head quarters in Vila Nova de Gaia.
It is produced from specially selected vineyard parcels from Quinta do Casal da Granja that have been planted with the best varieties grown on the plateau of Alijo.
Real Companhia Velha was founded in 1756 by the King of Portugal, this company represents some of the finest Quintas in the Douro.
