NOTES: this dessert wine comes from an ancient recipe from the mid-1800s. Freshly harvested sour cherries (prunus cerasus) are put to macerate with sugar and in October they are fermented with red sweeteners from red grapes. The long production cycle and the particular processing make it a unique and precious drink.
