The Nosiola grapes of Trentino Majano Francesco Poli are grown on the slopes surrounding Lake Santa Massenza, in Padergnone. The harvest begins in late September and is manual in a box with selection in the vineyard; the grapes are placed in a well-ventilated room and left to dry until the beginning of November. Trentino DOC “Majano” Francesco Poli ages in acacia barriques, where it remains for some months on its own yeasts and then matures in glass.

The Francesco Poli Winery is located in Santa Massenza: the southern climate meets the continental one, the Mediterranean plants coexist with the alpine ones. It is in this small town of renowned wine-growing and distillation tradition that the Agricultural Company and the Distillery of Francesco and Alessandro Poli are located. Since 1998 the vineyards have been cultivated in organic farming, and for some years biodynamic farming techniques have been used.
