To produce the Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG Napolini, the harvest takes place manually in the first 3 weeks of October. The fermentation with maceration of the skins lasts 30/35 days. The wine ages 6 months in barrique and 18 months in oak barrels.
The Napolini farm is run by the Nicolini family who have been managing the production and sale of its products from their own hill since the last century. Today it is the spouses Matteo and Clara with their son Mario who take care of the vineyards and cellar with passion. The grapes, all of their own production, as soon as they are picked by hand, are immediately pressed, to give fruit to a wine that in addition to being of quality is also a true window of a small reality in the red heart of Montefalco.
