The grapes to produce Syrah “Naturalys” Gérard Bertrand were harvested by hand when they had reached peak maturity, destemmed and left to macerate in the traditional manner for 10 to 15 days in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. This allowed the distinctive Syrah flavours to shine through, with prominent red fruits and spices, framed by silky, delicate tannins. Syrah “Naturalys” Gérard Bertrand went though malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats and was then matured in vat, preserving Syrah’s fruity character.
Gérard Bertrand’s commitment to sustainable agriculture has been recognised with the ECOCERT certification, guaranteeing organic production, environmentally-friendly packaging and a low carbon footprint.
