“6ème Sens Blanc” 2021 – Gérard Bertrand

The grapes to produce “6ème Sens Blanc” Gérard Bertrand were hand-picked at optimal ripeness before being sorted and pneumatically pressed. The must underwent cold settling for 48 hours. Fermentation took place at controlled low temperatures in stainless steel tanks for maximum extraction of fruit. “6ème Sens Blanc” Gérard Bertrand was aged in stainless steel to retain the purity of the fruit prior to being bottled.

The region of the Languedoc produces aromatic, fruity wines which represent the exceptional diversity of its terroirs. The foothills of the Corbières and of the Minervois, offer the ideal location for vine growing, where the vines are planted in clay limestone soils and surrounded by garrigue. They are bathed in sunshine and are influenced by the cooling Mediterranean Sea. This is the birthplace of the 6ème Sens, which carries the inimitable expression of the Southern French grape varieties.
